the time has come to leave this forum.
this is my last post.
mission completed.
you'll be back. Richard Pryor comedy dialogue on when he was
hooked on drugs. He said the pipe would call him, smoke me you
will feel better, you don't need no one but me, they don't understand
I understand, I'm your friend. LOL
But if you are at the point to move on, that's great.
supposing a man's wife has had an affair, confessed all and genuinely regrets what's happened.
the husband, after much soul searching and agonising, realises how much he still loves her and how much both of them want to rebuild their shattered relationship.. why should that woman then have to sit in front of a judicial men-only committee and give a blow-by-blow account of her affair?.
how would that make her husband feel, knowing that his wife is sharing intensely private stuff about her affair with several other guys?.
have any ex-elders here had a case where someone denied committing
adultery or fornication when the other party had come forward to confess??
Lets say the woman come forward , the guilt is too much. If the
guy comes in and tell the elders I have no idea what this woman is talking
about, I have never touch her, she is nuts, what can the elders do???
Another topic on child abuse I believe someone mention this, two witness thing.
i know of several examples of ones that "left the truth" for up to 20 years, only to suffer through the reinstatement process and feel like they are finally back on track.. how does this happen?.
i personally know of one example where a father of three, leaves jws, abandons wife and family, lives as a gay man then comes back 20 years later as a partaking member of the anointed..
How many of you here would return (KH) if N. Korea or China dropped
a nuclear bomb in N.Y, the start of WW3.?? Speaking for myself i
would volunteer for the home front, not for one minute would I consider running
back to the KH...
am i alone in this feeling?
i wish i could muster the cojones needed to tell my husband "i want a divorce, move away, not be a jw anymore!".
i find myself screaming these same words over and loud inside my mind, several times a day, and yet on the outside my actions could not be more opposed to these inner feelings.. sometimes i worry that this internal conflict will cause me to go crazy.
wheninDoubt;"if you don't want to be JW because you see the desires of
the world, and you believe it's passing you by", are you serious.
Are you talking about higher education, celebrating your child birthday and
no one lost their head, not knocking on doors to sale your religion or just
growing up like a regular teenager.
Please tell us what desires are you talking about??????
if you are a non-believing relative or spouse who is hostile to their doctrine are you an apostate?
if you studied with them and rang the logical fallacy buzzer for chits and giggles to see how they would react does this make you an apostate?.
if you are a born in who never got baptised does this make you an apostate?.

hi everyone, this may be the stupidest post ever.
i am stumped for an answer and would love to hear your opinions, though.
every week or two for the last couple of years, i have a dream--or at least that's what i'm calling it--that consists of me waking up or thinking that i've waked up, and seeing the ceiling of my darkened bedroom filled with algebraic equations.
I had dreamed years ago that I was chased by demons. Guess what,
I was a JW. The last time I had that dream I stopped running and turn to
face my chaser so what happened. The chaser stopped and shook my hand.
From that day forward I stop running in my dreams. LOL
how many witnesses would take up that offer if a person at the door asked them?
if that doesn't scream out "cult"!
if you know too much about the witnesses then you are an apostate.
the real reason, I can't go to your church because I will be attack by
DEMONS. So you would look like a nut if you told the householder that. LOL
so i had about had enough of reading jw's excuses online about wt child abuse and the candace conti nightline abc video about her case.
this is a really deep burning topic to me as i'm sure it is to many of you.
so today the gloves came off.
I think the point is someone that have never been involved with JW's
would be more effective. People don't care about shunning ex-members ,
blood issue and other unique JW teaching. Sexual abuse, that's another story.
I'm surprised that flipper was able to get as far as he did in the conversation
because they distinguished he was a ex- JW.
This is a issue that we as ex-JW need to sit back and let the public drill their butts.
Stay away from what the bible say and debating scriptures. You folks (JW) are
breaking the law, big time plane and simple..
